Natalie Guerrant Friendswood, Texas 77546 Via CMRRR Re: Epic Nail Spa a/k/a Helen’s Nail Spa – Cease and Desist Ms. Guerrant, Epic Nail Spa a/k/a Helen’s Nail Spa has retained me in connection with your false publications regarding services Helen’s Nail Spa provided to you on June 6, 2023. As you know, on June 6, 2023, you visited Helen’s Nail Spa and, after a consultation, you requested a “full set with shellac” as well as nail art and other services. Helen’s Nail Spa provided you the exact services you requested. Despite the fact the price for each service you selected was listed on the menu Helen’s Nail Spa made available, you refused to pay for the services Helen’s Nail Spa provided. As a result, Helen’s Nail Spa had to contact the police and, after the police arrived, you eventually agreed to pay for the services Helen’s Nail Spa rendered. Since your June 6, 2023 visit to Helen’s Nail Spa, you have posted false, malicious statements on social media about Helen’s Nail Spa. Specifically, you falsely stated that you “came in for a refill,” but Helen’s Nail Spa charged you for services you allegedly did not request or receive. As you know, you did not request a “refill,” as you have repeatedly and falsely represented on social media. Rather, you requested and received a “full set” with shellac and nail art. Of course, Helen’s Nail Spa has a picture of your nails both before and after service to evidence the services you received. It appears you have made these false, malicious statements on social media solely to damage Helen’s Nail Spa’s business. Accordingly, Helen’s Nail Spa hereby demands you immediately cease and desist from posting false, libelous statements on social media or making any such false statements to any third party about Helen’s Nail Spa. Helen’s Nail Spa further demands you immediately remove all libelous posts about Helen’s Nail Spa from your social media account(s). If you fail to remove your false statements about Helen’s Nail Spa from social media bold("within 30 days from the date you receive this letter"), Helen’s Nail Spa intends to file a defamation lawsuit in which they will seek recovery of the damages you have caused to Helen’s Nail Spa’s business.
